Installing vlab on Linux

Required installed software: g++, make, Qt4

The download is a gzipped tar file. Deompressing it will create a directory with a name like vlab-4.4.0 containing a file README, which gives complete installation instructions.

For the simplest configuration, a personal installation, move the vlab directory to wherever you want to install vlab (such as /usr/local), cd into it, and run
./bin/postinstall.sh
You can then add the vlab paths to your environment by running
./bin/sourceme.sh
