Abstract
Since 1970, the GROOVE system has been the classic example of an interactive editor of time functions.
It has inspired the design of an interactive score editor for microcomputers, named INTERSCORE. A
composer is provided with a wide range of easy to use editing operations, and with both audio and visual
feedback (in piano-roll notation). An organ-like keyboard is extensively used as an input device.
Time relationships are given particular attention.
